Omagh St Enda's Primary Schools' Tournament Cup
The annual St. Enda's Primary Schools' Tournament was hosted by Omagh St Enda’s Youth committee and took place on Friday 16th June at Healy Park. In total, 8 local primary schools & 23 teams attended with over 200 boys and girls participating.
St Conors had great numbers of boys and girls participating, with seven teams in total taking part. The girls' team bowed out at the semi-final stage, but showed great skill and determination throughout their games. For the first time in the competition, we had Primary five pupils making up Team 4. They played with great tenacity, skill and a never say die attitude. Their games were highly competitive and they managed an impressive victory against Holy Family's B team. Team Three competed in the final of the John 0' Hagan Cup and despite a gutsy display, they were defeated by a very strong Christ The King Team.
After some excellent games in the earlier group stages, it was the Boys' first team that claimed the coveted Mulryan Cup; having defeated the Integrated Primary School in a competitive and hard fought final, on a 9-5 scoreline . Well done to all.
