P7GMC- ULSTER AMERICAN FOLK PARK VISIT
22nd Jan 2020
Our Primary 7 pupils enjoyed a recent trip to The Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh, as part of their topic work on The Famine and Emigration. The pupils were given the opportunity to learn and experience what life was like in 'Famine Ireland in the 1800's'. The children enjoyed learning about living in one room cottages and their time experiencing the transatlantic journey made by Irish emigrants on the 'Coffin ship' was very exciting. Have a look at our photos of the day!
