2CF Visit The Festival of Cribs

Year 2 children had a wonderful experience visiting St Joseph’s Hall, where they viewed an incredible display of 300 cribs from all around the world.  The exhibition gave pupils a unique insight into the global celebrations of Christmas.  

Adding to the special occasion, Helen Barrett, a former teacher at St.Conor’s, warmly welcomed the children and shared her enthusiasm for the beautiful collection.  All donations made by visitors to the Festival of Cribs will support children in Ukraine, Gaza and South Africa. The Year 2 children came away full of Christmas spirit knowing they had made a contribution to helping the poor in other parts of the world.
