Christmas has arrived in 1KH
Our Year 1 children have been getting into the festive spirit with a wonderful mix of creative and learning activities! Alongside making beautiful puff paint snowmen decorations and learning Christmas makaton signs, the children have been busy with festive math's challenges—counting Christmas items and finding the Numicon pieces that match each set. These activities have helped strengthen their number skills while keeping the fun and magic of Christmas alive. They also got hands on practical experience when practicing how to wrap presents, a fun activity that strengthens fine motor skills while learning through play.
The children really enjoyed making their own Christmas hats for dinner. They enjoyed singing Christmas carols while sharing this special meal together in the canteen - exactly what Christmas is all about. Huge thank you to Peter and our fantastic kitchen crew! It’s been a fantastic way to combine creativity, learning, and celebration as we end the term! Merry Christmas from all in 1KH.
