Drumragh Integrated College International Day of Peace Football Tournament
20th Sep 2025
On Friday, 30 children from Year 6 and 7 took part in the Drumragh Integrated College International Day of Peace Football Tournament.
All three of our teams delivered excellent performances, showcasing great skill, determination and teamwork throughout the group stages.
The girls' team secured a place in the Shield Final with only one defeat from their matches in the group stage.
The boys' blue team played brilliantly and narrowly missed out on the knockout phase.
The boys' red team were unbeaten throughout the group stage and were unlucky to miss out making the Cup Final however they managed to secure a well deserved place in the Shield Final.
In the girls' Shield Final our girls were fantastic from start to finish, exhibiting great teamwork and skill to overcome a gallant St. Patrick's Newtownstewart PS team 3 - 1.
In the boys' Shield Final our boys battled bravely but were defeated by a skilful Omagh County PS team.
Yet again, the children were a credit to the school. Well done to all the boys and girls.
A huge thank you to the staff at Drumragh College for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event.
