On Wednesday, 20 children from Year 7 took part in annual Drumragh Sarsfields GAC Primary Schools’ Tournament. The St. Conor’s players were outstanding once again and performed superbly throughout the day. In this mixed‑team competition, Team 1 were unfortunate to lose to St. Lawrence’s PS Team 1 in the Cup semi‑final, while Team 2 were narrowly defeated by St. Lawrence’s Team 2 in the Shield quarter‑final. Well done to all the boys and girls who, once again, played with great skill, enthusiasm and commitment throughout the tournament. Their teamwork, determination and sportsmanship were a credit to the school.
We would like to thank Drumragh GAC—and especially Ben Monk—for organising such a well‑run and enjoyable event. It was a brilliant day of football for everyone involved.
