As part of our topic on fruit and vegetables, children in the nursery have been learning how to make soup and fruit salad. They helped to chop vegetables and really enjoyed eating the soup. The saucepan was empty!! They loved the story “Soup Day”.
After reading the story “Oliver’s Fruit Salad “ the children also helped to make up a fruit salad kit bags to take home. This encouraged the children to help make fruit salad at home.
