Internet Safety 2026
At St. Conor’s, we were delighted to take part in activities that raised awareness of staying safe online. Pupils discussed the importance of staying safe online while also remembering to remain respectful, responsible and kind to others when using digital platforms.
Across the school, classes took part in a wide range of online‑safety activities, exploring how to protect personal information, make positive choices, and use devices safely. Pupils enjoyed sharing their knowledge and learning from one another.
We were also very pleased to welcome Rachel Harkness to our school. Rachel delivered engaging sessions for pupils across multiple year groups and later facilitated a very informative Parents’ Evening, helping families better understand how to support safe and confident online behaviour at home.
Our wonderful Digital Leaders presented a special assembly to Years 4–7. They shared practical tips and reminders to help keep everyone in our school community safe online.
“Staying safe online means thinking before we click, speaking kindly, and always telling a trusted adult if something doesn’t feel right.”
Internet Safety Day was a valuable opportunity for pupils, staff and families to come together and reflect on what it truly means to use the internet in a safe, positive and respectful way.
