St Conor's young musicians experience a concert with the Ulster Orchestra
19th Dec 2025
In November, a group of very excited Key Stage 2 children went to the Strule Arts Centre for a wonderful concert with the Ulster Orchestra. This particular group of children attend music lessons with EA tutors Mrs Aislinn McGinn and Ms Lauren McGeough and have been working hard learning either the violin, viola, cello, clarinet and flute during Term 1 of this year. The concert was a fantastic, interactive experience and the children were excited to hear the fabulous music, sing and dance along all whilst learning a little bit more about health and wellbeing. It was a wonderful reminder to our children of the rewards that hard work and regular practice on their instruments can bring; to be a part of an orchestra making music together.
