Last week, the sun smiled down on us as we held our long-awaited annual Gaelic football league for our Year 5, 6 and 7 boys and girls. Despite the very warm conditions, the pupils were superb throughout the day, displaying excellent skill, determination and teamwork. The matches were closely contested and provided plenty of excitement, with some thrilling finishes. After a series of competitive games, the Mayo teams emerged victorious in both the boys' and girls' competitions.
Congratulations to all of the boys and girls who took part and represented their teams so well. A huge thank you also goes to Cain Bradley from Omagh St Enda's and Ben Monk from Drumragh for refereeing the games, presenting the trophies and for their invaluable coaching, encouragement and support throughout the year.
