St Conor’s Annual Football League
24th Jun 2025
Very recently, we hosted our much-anticipated annual football league for the P5, P6, and P7 pupils on our school pitch. The day was filled with drama, excitement and an incredible display of skill and talent from all the children involved.
After a series of thrilling matches, the girls’ teams from Cork and Mayo advanced to the final, while Dublin and Donegal battled through their respective groups to reach the boys’ final.
Both finals were played in a fantastic spirit of sportsmanship and were a true showcase of the pupils’ abilities. In a closely fought contest, Cork edged out Mayo to win the girls’ final. Meanwhile, Donegal secured victory in the boys’ final thanks to a last-gasp clearance, narrowly defeating a superb Dublin side.
A huge well done to all the children for their outstanding behaviour, effort and sporting achievements throughout the day.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Cain Bradley from Omagh St. Enda’s G.F.C and Ben Monk from Drumragh G.A.C for refereeing the semi-finals and finals—and for the invaluable support and work they continue to do for our school.
