Congratulations to our girls today who finished runner's up in a fantastic final of Netball in Omagh Leisure Centre.
The girls faced All Saint's, St Joseph's and St Mary's Killyclogher in the group stages of the tournament, winning against All Saint's and St Mary's Killyclogher. After an excellent game against St Joseph's Drumquin that ended in a tie, a rematch decided who reached the final. After extra time and the 'golden score' the girl's came out on top making into the final again St Ronan's Recarson.
Our Netballer's played back to back matches but this didn't stop their energy going into the final. They played a strong Recarson team with enthusiasm and energy, never giving up until the final whistle narrowly missing out. We are so proud of how they represented the school today, a successful first Netball Tournament of the Year. A huge thanks to St Marys Killyclogher, Omagh Leisure Centre, umpires and all who helped ensure today ran smoothly.
