Very recently, four teams represented our school at the annual Omagh St. Enda’s Gaelic football primary schools; tournament. It was a great day’s football and all of the boys and girls give 100% for their team.
The boys’ team 2 manged to overcome a skilful Christ the King team to won the plate. Team 2 girls also managed to win the plate in another tight final.
The girls’ and boys’ team 1 secured many notable wins in the group phase however were just narrowly defeated in the cup semi-finals.
Huge congratulations go all four of our St. Conor’s teams, who represented our school brilliantly both on and off the pitch.
A massive thank you to Cain and Omagh St. Enda’s for hosting a terrific tournament and to all the volunteers and referees whose efforts ensured a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day’s football for everyone involved.
