Our Year 1 pupils have been learning all about the 't' sound, searching for the sound and practicing the letter formation. They read about 'The Tiger who came to Tea' and the children were very surprised to see a special visitor coming for their 'T' party in class. We celebrated all things starting with 'T' by placing them on the towers. They found trays, towels, teeth, tape and our special Turtle Twiggle! We then shared toast and treats together.
The children really enjoyed making this phonics experience memorable - it was a 'Tea'rrific T Party.
