Y5SG have been learning all about the planets, the Sun, the Moon and where we are in the Solar System. This week we all observed a Super Moon in our skies. This led to some investigations in class and some detective work to find out exactly why our moon was so bright this week! We took a close look at the moon phases and decided to use our favourite Oreo biscuits to depict the Moon phases! It was hard to resist eating the lovely biscuits but we avoided temptation and managed to complete all 8 Moon phases! Well done Y5!
