On Friday 27th February 2026, our Year 7s visited the Ulster American Folk Park as part of their emigration studies. The pupils visited houses in the 'Old World' before heading to the ship where they experienced what travelling conditions were like around the time of the Famine. They then moved to the 'New World' where they saw the different styles of houses in America. Many thanks to Tom and all the staff at the Folk Park for making the Emigation workshop so enjoyable.
