Suggested Schedule for Home Learning

Other suggested activities:

Writing task – write a report on Squirrels using MYON reading task to research facts.

The headings for your report are as follows:

• Introduction
• What they look like.
• What they eat.
• What countries they are found in.
• Any jobs they might do.

• Accelerated Reading – continue to read books on MYON and complete the quizzes
• Spellings – for those of you who may have completed the Spelling workbook please revise the spellings in the first two units over this week.
• PE – get some fresh air and exercise every day
• RE – May is a very special month for the Church as we remember Mary - resources are provided on the school website
• World Around Us – watch the weather report after the news each evening.
• ICT – Scratch activities - links are provided in the class documents

• Mathletics
  • The weekly target is 1000 points
  • Focus for this week is the section on Money
  • Complete other activities to gain points towards your target
  • Certificates will be awarded as follows:
  • Bronze certificate for 1000 points earned in a week
  • Silver certificate when 5 bronze certificates have been achieved
  • Gold certificate when 4 silver certificates have been achieved

• The children in 4UB could look at the first two pages in their money workbook after they have looked at the Money section on the Mathletics site.
